Property tax bills were mailed Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The mil rate was set at $23.85.
Real estate tax payments are due in two installments; first half payments are due October 15, 2024 and second half payments are due April 15, 2025. Personal property tax payments are due in full October 15, 2024. Tax bills and payment instructions are available on the Property Tax Webpage.
Taxpayers previously enrolled in the Property Tax Stabilization Program are seeing a larger increase in their tax bills due to the State’s repeal of that program.
An advance notice of the upcoming 2025 town-wide revaluation was inserted with each tax bill. Copies of the notices are linked below. Taxpayers will see the 2025 revaluation reflected in their Fall 2025 bill. The revaluation has not been implemented in the current tax bills.
