Adult Basketball Leagues

Over 35 Adult Basketball League

The Brunswick Parks and Recreation has been offering an Adult Basketball League for over 40 years. The league starts in December and ends in March or early April. The season will consist of an 8-game regular season followed by a seeded, double elimination tournament and the League uses High School IAABO officials. Age determination is based upon a players age on their birthday in 2026.

Sign-ups are open for teams and the league fees are $1025 per team. The league is also open to individuals to play. If individuals are interested in playing and are not affiliated with a team, they should contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 207-725-6656 and a “house” team will be created. Individual fees are $130 per person. Individual fees will be refunded if there is not enough interest to form a house team.

If you are having a company sponsor your team, reach out to us to get your team registered and an invoice can be sent to the team sponsor. Individuals not affiliated with a team and teams interested in playing are encouraged to contact the Brunswick Parks & Rec at 725-6656.

Team Roster forms and team fees must be submitted at the time of registration.

League Details:

· Games are on Sundays and they begin at 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm, depending on the number of teams in the league.

· There must be a minimum of 8 adults per roster.

League Rules:

· Players must be or turn 35 years old in the year 2025

· The Facility and parking lot are Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, drug free zones

· This is a recreational league for the average adult, violence or aggressive competition behavior will not be tolerated
