A Safety Message from the Fire Department

With all the snow that's accumulated this winter, and any more to come, please help us help you. If there's a fire hydrant near your house, do your part to keep it accessible this winter. Brunswick has over 500 fire hydrants and shoveling out one near you might save lives.

Try to remove snow and ice to make a 3' perimeter for firefighters to work and also clear a path from the hydrant to the street. We appreciate your help. Check out the video at the bottom of the newsletter to see how we do it.

New Parking Ban Map

For the upcoming winter season, town-wide parking bans will be declared with a minimum of six hours’ notice for the duration of each storm, except in the Yellow Zone. Parking restrictions in the Yellow Zone would be limited between 12:01am-7am. Learn more about our winter services and and see the new parking ban map here.

Shellfish Licenses

Shellfish Letters of Intent are now available for both the 2026 Commercial and Student programs. To be eligible, applicants must submit their Intentions, along with the required documents, in person to the Town Clerk's Office by the deadline. For a complete list of deadline dates, please visit the Town Clerk's website.
