The intersection of Route 123 (Harpswell Road), Middle Bay Road, and Merriconeag Road will be converting to an all-way stop beginning on the morning of Monday, September 30, 2024. Please note the change from the original start date of September 26.
Traffic Alert: The intersection of Route 123 (Harpswell Road), Middle Bay Road, and Merriconeag Road will be converting to an all-way stop beginning on the morning of Monday, September 30, 2024. Please note this is a delay from the originally scheduled date of September 26. Maine DOT has designed the conversion which will require all vehicles to stop as they approach the intersection. New signage with LED flashers are being installed and will be covered until the morning of September 26, 2024. Further, the speed limit on Route 123 near the intersection will be decreased from 45MPH to 35MPH as part of this change. For additional information, please email TOB-Engineering@brunswickme.org
