In 2023 the Brunswick Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BBPAC) reapplied for Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) status with the League of American Bicyclists. Today, we received a renewed Bronze-Level recognition! Applying to the League for BFC status is a great way to evaluate the Town's programs, policies, and systems so that we can make bicycling safer and more convenient for residents of all ages and abilities. Brunswick is the only town to renew its status this year, and only one of two towns in Maine to have any status at all.
